11.1 Purpose
To ensure that sexually explicit adult material on wataatube.com is accessed exclusively by legal adults, in full alignment with the UK Online Safety Act 2023, EU AVMSD regulations, and applicable US state age verification mandates.
11.2 Recognized verification methods
- Facial Age Estimation: Facial biometric estimation via certified privacy-preserving third-party providers. Biometric image frames are analyzed on-the-fly and destroyed immediately; WataaTube never receives or stores your photo.
- Government ID & Live Selfie Matching: Verification via valid passport, driver’s licence, or national identity card.
- Credit Card / Open Banking Check: Financial age-validation token verification.
- Mobile Network Operator (MNO) Age Verification: Identity assertion via mobile carrier networks.
- Digital Identity Wallets: Zero-knowledge age credential attestations.
11.3 Data privacy guarantee
WataaTube does not store identity documents, facial scans, or biometric vectors of casual site visitors. Certified age-assurance vendors process this data under strict security agreements. We store only a cryptographic pass/fail verification token with an expiry timestamp.
11.4 Re-verification
Users may be prompted to re-verify upon clearing browser cookies, switching devices, or after designated regulatory verification timeframes.
11.5 Anti-circumvention
Attempting to bypass age verification through fraudulent credentials, stolen IDs, or deceptive tools violates our Terms of Service and results in an immediate permanent ban.
