Law Enforcement Requests Guide

This document details our protocols for receipt and handling of legal process from international law enforcement agencies, judiciary bodies, and government regulators.

13.1 Official submission portal

Direct official legal process to our dedicated unit: wataatube@proton.me.
All communications must originate from an official government or law enforcement agency domain and be presented on official agency letterhead.

13.2 Required information

  • Identity of the requesting agency, name, badge/identification number, direct office phone number, and official email of the presiding officer.
  • Statutory authority and legal process (subpoena, search warrant, court order, or formal Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty request).
  • Precise identifiers: exact wataatube.com video URLs, profile usernames, IP addresses, and specific UTC timestamps.
  • Explicit statement regarding user notification restrictions (non-disclosure orders).

13.3 Standard evaluation procedure

WataaTube evaluates each request for jurisdiction, procedural validity, and scope. We push back against overly broad or constitutionally deficient subpoenas. Records are maintained for all governmental inquiries.

13.4 Imminent danger & emergencies

For exigent circumstances involving imminent risk of death or serious physical injury, mark the subject line with “EMERGENCY REQUEST” and provide concise details of the emergency. Emergency requests receive immediate expedited priority.

13.5 Child exploitation reporting

We actively submit reports regarding suspected CSAM directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline (US) and the Internet Watch Foundation (UK), providing relevant IP connections and user identifiers.

13.6 Data preservation requests

Upon formal request pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f) or equivalent international standards, we preserve transaction logs and account records for 90 days pending legal process.
